Fellow PAAD Ballers! The stage is now set for the 2011 PAAD Palaro.

As valuable participants of PAAD Palaro, we’ve listened to your opinions and concerns. We’ve made improvements to the rules in our pursuit of making the games fun and competitive.

Key Points and changes:
1. For Basketball, each team will be allowed to have a maximum of five (5) players with heights 6’ and above.
2. For Basketball, each team will have a maximum of two (2) players with heights between 6’ and above playing at the same time in the game.
3. For Basketball, improved quotient and tie-breaking system.
4. Eligibility rules. A player should have played 2 consecutive years in PAAD to be eligible for the “grandfather rule”. Previously we’ve allowed players who have previously played in PAAD to play without scrutiny of their eligibility (primarily their Filipino lineage)
5. Players who have been banned from other leagues similar to PAAD Palaro are automatically banned from PAAD Palaro
6. Teams that are based outside of Delaware or reasonably far from the venue can request to have multiple games in a particular week. These requests should be in place before the PAAD 2011 Schedule is finalized.
7. Volleyball teams are now allowed to have 3 male players playing at the same time
